Read this before relying on anything we say about results
We advertise confidently, because we believe in our work. This page explains what our numbers mean and what they do not promise you. If a statement in our advertising conflicts with this page, this page controls.
1. What we do
Davel Creative Agency is a marketing, advertising, and creative services agency, working with businesses across many industries — professional services, medical and wellness practices, construction and home services, retail and e-commerce, hospitality, consumer products, non-profits, and government.
We do not sell a business opportunity, franchise, licensing programme, investment, or money-making system, and we do not sell leads, customers, or patients as a product. We provide professional services. Whether they produce revenue for you depends substantially on you.
2. Our figures are approximate
This is the most important section on this page.
Statistics, percentages, ranges, and dollar figures in our advertising, presentations, proposals, and conversations are approximations. Unless we say otherwise, they come from some combination of:
- verbal feedback clients give us on calls;
- written feedback in messages, emails, surveys, and reviews;
- platform and system reporting from advertising platforms, CRMs, and analytics tools; and
- our own estimates and professional judgment based on the above.
We do not audit our clients' books. We do not ordinarily receive or review profit-and-loss statements, tax returns, accounting records, or bank statements, and we do not independently verify revenue figures a client reports to us. Our figures reflect our good-faith understanding of the information available to us — which is usually what the client told us.
So any figure we publish may be rounded or estimated, may reflect only some clients, may be based on a small number of them, may use different measurement methods between businesses, and may cover different time periods, markets, and budgets.
Treat every figure as illustrative, not as an audited or verified measurement. If you want to know what a specific figure is based on, ask us at support@davelcreative.com and we will tell you.
3. Your results will be different
Marketing outcomes depend on your market (geography, competition, seasonality), your offer (what you sell, at what price, against what alternatives), your budget (how much and how consistently you invest), your starting point, your operations (how fast you answer, how you follow up, your close rate, your capacity to serve demand), and your responsiveness to us.
They are also affected by things nobody controls — platform policy and algorithm changes, ad account restrictions, tracking changes, and market conditions.
Two businesses can get identical work from us and very different results.
4. Volume claims
Where we advertise a number of leads, customers, patients, jobs, or appointments, that number is a target for a specific service package under specific conditions, not a promise that applies to every business.
We use these terms precisely, because they mean different things: a lead submitted contact details; a qualified lead meets the criteria written into your agreement; a booked appointment scheduled; an attended appointment showed up; a customer bought. Any figure we advertise will say which one it means, or we will tell you if you ask.
5. Named clients and testimonials
Where we name a client, we have their written permission, and the engagement described is real. Their results are theirs — illustrative, not typical, and not predictive of yours.
Testimonials reflect one person's experience. We do not write, buy, incentivise, or fabricate testimonials or reviews, and we do not suppress negative ones. Where someone received payment, a discount, free services, or anything else of value, we disclose it next to the testimonial, as the FTC's Endorsement Guides require. Testimonials may be shortened for length but never in a way that changes their meaning.
6. Guarantees
We sometimes advertise a performance guarantee, including "or you don't pay." Those offers are genuine, and they are conditional and not offered to everyone.
Whether we can offer one for your business, what it covers, and what happens if we fall short are decided during onboarding, based on your market, budget, offer, and operations. We may offer what the advertisement describes, offer something modified, or conclude we cannot responsibly guarantee a result for you — in which case we will say so and offer to work together without one.
No guarantee exists unless it appears in your signed agreement. Not in an advertisement. Not on a landing page. Not in something said on a call.
Full framework: Performance Guarantee Terms.
7. We are not a referral service
We provide marketing and advertising services. We do not refer, recommend, broker, or arrange for any specific person to become your customer, client, or patient. We build and run advertising that reaches people who may be interested in what you offer; what happens next is between you and them.
We neither pay nor receive referral fees, finder's fees, or commissions for referring anyone. Our fees are fixed fees for services, agreed in advance. Where a guarantee applies, any refund or credit is a remedy for our own failure to meet a service commitment — a reduction in what you pay us, not a payment to anyone for a referral.
8. Advertising spend, and revenue versus profit
Advertising spend is separate from our fees, is paid to the platform rather than to us, and is not refundable by us under any circumstance. Any budget figure we discuss is a recommendation.
Where we reference revenue, sales, or bookings, those are top-line figures. They do not account for your ad spend, our fees, cost of goods, labour, overhead, or tax. A revenue increase is not automatically a profit increase.
9. Forward-looking statements
Anything we say about what we expect, project, or aim for is a forward-looking statement based on assumptions, and assumptions can be wrong. No projection is a promise, and a projection in a proposal is a planning tool — not a commitment — unless it appears as a binding benchmark in your signed agreement.
10. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for operating your business lawfully, including every licence, permit, and advertising rule that applies to you; for the accuracy and legality of any claim you ask us to make on your behalf; for obtaining consent before giving us any photograph, customer story, review, or testimonial; and for your own pricing, professional decisions, and treatment of your customers.
We do not control your business and do not make professional, clinical, or pricing decisions for you.
11. Not professional advice, and third parties
Nothing in our marketing or on our website is legal, medical, tax, accounting, financial, or regulatory advice.
We work with third-party platforms and are not responsible for their performance, pricing, availability, or decisions — including a platform's decision to reject an ad or restrict an account. A platform's action affecting your account is not a breach by us.
12. Tell us if we get something wrong
If you think a statement in our advertising is inaccurate or unclear, tell us. We will look into it and correct it if you are right.
